What time is check-in and check out?
Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 10am. To check in please visit our front desk at The Ashwood Inn located across the street from Deer Park Lodge at 34777 Bayfield River Road. Our front desk is open until 8pm - if you will be arriving later than 7:30pm please make a note in your reservation or contact us so we can make arrangements to accommodate.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
A deposit of $100-$500 (depending on length of stay) is required to guarantee your booking. If written confirmation of cancellation is received more than 30 days prior to check-in 50% of the deposit will be refunded. In case of cancellation 30 days or less in advance the deposit is non-refundable.
For our summer weekly rentals, cancellation within 2 weeks of arrival will result in a charge equal to 50% of your booking total.
What is your Guarantee Policy?
A deposit is required to guarantee your reservation. All cottages are non-smoking, guests smoking inside or within 10m of any building will be charged a fine of up to $250. Please note that in case of any damage incurred during your stay we reserve the right to charge the credit card on file for repair or replacement. Rooms are expected to be left in good condition, any room or cottage requiring excessive cleaning upon checkout will be charged an additional fee.
Can I bring my pet?
The cottages and grounds at Deer Park are pet friendly except for our Penthouse cottage and Grandview C & D one bedroom apartments. We ask that pets be on leash when exploring the grounds and the beach, that they not be left unattended inside the cottage unless happy in a crate and that you pick up after them. There is an extra fee of $50/pet per weekend or $100/pet per week.
Is there air conditioning?
All cottages have air conditioning available at a charge of $7 per night.
What should I bring with me?
We provide bed linens, towels and all the basics to cook and serve meals in the kitchen. We ask that you bring your own beach towels as well as shampoo, hair drier and any other toiletries. If you like extra pillows we also recommend you bring a few along.
Do you offer monthly rentals?
